When you are as innovative as Glosfume, there's always plenty to talk about. Here's the latest news from the leaders in hot gas filtration systems and high temperature ceramic air filters.
October 2008
- 12 POD Slovenian filter has now been commissioned on wood chip biomass, the plant will shortly be commissioned on sorted municiple waste.
- Further filters delivered to Scotland for use with wood chip biomass fired boilers. These filters have been sent as complete packages fully finished including control panel, fan and duct work.
September 2008
- 2 POD ceramic filter for 2.1MW biomass fired steam boiler now fully commissioned.
- Operation of filters with biomass has resulted in particulate emission levels below 2mg/m3, with reductions of over 90% in PM10 and PM2.5.
August 2008
- Production of filter tubes for gas analysers for analysis of emissions onboard ships.
- Delivery of the sixteenth new design dross press filter.
July 2008
- Launch of our new web site, which we trust, is more user friendly and more informative.
- Biomass filter delivered and commissioned on a 250kW hot water wood chipped fired boiler in Scotland. The filter is designed to reduced PM10 and PM2.5 particulate emissions. Emission results are awaited with interest.

- Slovenia filter, commissioning and testing takes place in October 2008. The plant will be the largest and first Biomass/Waste boiler in Europe to be fully compliant to both WID & BREF.

June 2008
- Revised design for filter support structure. This design reduces on site installation time and transport costs. Unit illustrated below was exported to Eire for use on a 2.1MWTH biomass steam boiler.
