WID-compliant Incineration (UK)
OTMS bovine carcass rotary incinerator
This installation was Glosfume's first use of a new process designed to incorporate an innovative 'radiant heating tube' which allows fumes to cool prior to filter without the need for dilution air and/or a heat exchanger. This design has subsequently been successfully utilised on several similar rotary incinerator installations.
The plant was the first to comply with strict Waste Incineration Directive (WID) requirements and was the UK Government's choice for the disposal of Foot & Mouth infected carcasses during the summer of 2007. Because Glosfume is entrusted with filtration for the most demanding installations, you can be sure we have the experience to deliver the cost-effectiveness and peace of mind you expect.
