This installation involved replacement of a 3-metre ceramic element filter that suffered constant element breakages and inadequate SO2 removal due to a poorly designed powder injection system.
After careful consideration of the problem, we recommended installation of a Glosfume powder invector. This gave much more even sorbent distribution, so the customer enjoyed highly efficient SO2 removal and an immediate improvement in plant performance. This OTMS 'boxed beef' application proved yet again that Glosfume has the specialist industry experience and skills to provide a superior high temperature filtration solution under the most demanding conditions.
