Carcass Incineration (Scotland)
Homogenised bovine carcass Incinerator
This successful application consisted of two Over Thirty Month Scheme (OTMS) homogenised bovine carcass incinerator installations. Due to the plant's location in the centre of a major conurbation, the installation had to ensure that emission limits met the most stringent requirements.
After thorough consideration of the project requirements, we installed a dual HTMC8 (400) installation dry-scrubbing filtration system allied to sodium bicarbonate and 2C talc injection. Our client was delighted - and so is the local community.
For applications as diverse as metal recovery and carcass incineration, the combination of Glosfume high temperature ceramic filters and dry scrubbing helps ensure consistent compliance with all current and future limits.
